
Creates music with immersive sound design and affects that are often intense and abrasive with contrasting sparse minimalistic textures and distorted soundscapes.
Dedicated educator in the Colorado region. Currently Coordinator of Guitar Studies and Interim Director of Recording Arts at Regis University, Professor of Music Technology and Digital Music at The University of Denver, lead Curriculum Developer and Teaching Artist for The Newman Center for Performing Arts’ Music Creators, Assistant Director of Very Young Composers Vail (a collaboration with The Playground Ensemble, Vail Valley Foundation, and the New York Philharmonic), and Education Coordinator for The Playground Ensemble.
Active member of The Playground Ensemble as a composer, performer, and an educator. Past collaborator with the immersive theater and dance collective Control Group Productions, regularly works with longtime friends and mentors William Hill and Conrad Kehn, and has played (and maybe will again) in a number of rock, jazz, and experimental music groups in Denver.
Formally educated at Metro State University of Denver and The University of Denver in guitar performance and composition.
